NEURADIANT 1070 -  TRANSCRANIAL PHOTOBIOMODULATION

Light Therapy Targeted to Your Brain

Neuradiant 1070 Infrared helmet

The Neuradiant 1070 is not a light panel pointed at your head. It is a clinically designed helmet that delivers 1070nm near-infrared light directly to specific regions of the brain — deeper than any other wavelength, with independent control over four separate brain quadrants. The most targeted transcranial photobiomodulation device available outside a hospital setting, backed by a clinical trial at Baylor Research Institute.

THE SCIENCE

Why 1070nm Changes Everything for Brain Light Therapy

Not all near-infrared light reaches the brain. The wavelength determines depth of penetration — and the difference between a standard panel and the Neuradiant's 1070nm is the difference between light that reaches the scalp and light that reaches the neurons.

Standard red and near-infrared panels operate in the 630–850nm range — highly effective for skin, muscle, and joint tissue. But when light has to travel through the skull, bone, tissue, and cerebrospinal fluid absorb and scatter shorter wavelengths significantly before they reach brain tissue. At 1070nm, penetration depth increases substantially, delivering a therapeutic dose to neurons and deep brain structures that shorter wavelengths cannot reach at clinical doses.

Once inside brain tissue, the mechanism is the same as all PBMT: Cytochrome C Oxidase (CCO) in the mitochondria absorbs the photons, triggering increased ATP production, improved cerebral blood flow, reduced neuroinflammation, and stimulation of BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor) — the protein most responsible for neuronal repair, growth, and connectivity. The brain has enormous energy demands and limited reserve. When mitochondrial function is restored through light, the neurological effects are rapid and measurable.

The Baylor Research Institute and Texas A&M School of Medicine conducted one of the first human clinical trials evaluating transcranial photobiomodulation using both neuropsychological testing and advanced neuroimaging assessments. Their findings — detailed below — demonstrated rapid, significant improvements across mood, motor function, and memory. This is the research base the Neuradiant 1070 was built on, and it is the standard we hold our protocols to.

Effective for Body — Limited for Brain

Our full-body PBMT panels operate in this range — excellent for muscle, joint, and nerve tissue. The skull attenuates these wavelengths significantly before they reach neurons. Useful for general brain wellness support; insufficient for targeted neurological recovery protocols.

Designed Specifically to Reach the Brain

1070nm travels deeper through bone and tissue than any shorter wavelength, delivering a therapeutic dose to neurons and brain structures standard panels cannot access. The only wavelength with published evidence for disease-modifying effects in neurodegenerative conditions at transcranial doses — and the wavelength validated in the Baylor clinical trial.

THE RESEARCH

The Baylor Research Institute Clinical Trial

The Neuradiant 1070 is not a consumer wellness device. It was developed from clinical research conducted at Baylor Research Institute and Texas A&M School of Medicine — one of the first human trials to evaluate transcranial photobiomodulation using both neuropsychological and advanced neuroimaging assessments. The findings were striking.

What the Baylor Trial Found

The trial used the Neuradiant 1070's precursor device to deliver 1070nm transcranial near-infrared light to subjects with neurological conditions. Assessments were conducted using validated neuropsychological testing combined with advanced brain imaging — the same dual-assessment standard used in pharmaceutical trials. The results were rapid and significant across every measured domain.

  • Significant improvement in mood and emotional regulation within the first protocol course

  • Measurable improvement in motor function — documented on neuroimaging

  • Meaningful reduction in memory loss symptoms in under 30 days

  • Advanced neuroimaging confirmed structural and functional brain changes — not just symptom reports

  • Conducted with Texas A&M School of Medicine — peer-reviewed neuropsychological and imaging standards

  • Among the first human trials to use both neuropsychological testing and advanced neuroimaging to evaluate transcranial photobiomodulation

  • Developed by the QuietMind Foundation's Marvin Berman, Ph.D. — 25+ years of clinical brain research

THE TECHNOLOGY

Four-Quadrant Control — Target What Needs It

The Neuradiant 1070 delivers independent control over four brain quadrants. Different neurological conditions involve dysfunction in specific regions — the ability to concentrate light where it is needed, and reduce it where it is not, is what separates this device from anything else on the market.

Frontal Quadrant

Executive Function & Mood

The prefrontal cortex governs decision-making, emotional regulation, working memory, and executive function. Frontal targeting is indicated for depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADD/ADHD, and any condition affecting planning, focus, and emotional control. PTSD in particular shows measurable prefrontal hypoactivation that responds directly to this protocol.

Posterior Quadrant

Visual Processing & Motor Control

The occipital and parietal regions handle visual processing, spatial awareness, and coordination of motor signals. Posterior targeting is used for post-stroke motor deficits, balance and coordination disorders, and the visual processing disruption seen in TBI and concussion recovery.

Left Hemisphere

Language & Analytical Processing

The left hemisphere dominates language, logical analysis, and sequential thinking. Left-side targeting addresses post-stroke aphasia, language processing disorders, reading difficulties, and the analytical cognitive deficits associated with TBI and Long COVID brain fog.

Right Hemisphere

Creativity, Intuition & Social Processing

The right hemisphere governs spatial reasoning, creativity, emotional recognition, and holistic processing. Right-side targeting is used for social cognition deficits in autism spectrum, emotional processing disorders, and the global right-hemisphere slowing associated with depression and dementia.

Pulse frequency control — 0 to 999 Hz: In addition to quadrant targeting, the Neuradiant allows precise pulse frequency adjustment across the full range. Gamma frequencies (40 Hz) are specifically studied for Alzheimer's and cognitive enhancement. Delta range supports sleep and deep neurological recovery. Your protocol addresses both where the light goes and what frequency it pulses at — the same principle as PEMF, delivered optically into brain tissue.

WHO IT HELPS

Conditions We Use the Neuradiant 1070 For

These are the conditions we work with most consistently — each with a documented neurological mechanism that 1070nm light addresses directly, and most benefiting from combination with HBOT at 1.3-2.0 ATA.

Traumatic Brain Injury & Concussion

1070nm reaches damaged tissue directly, reducing neuroinflammation and restoring mitochondrial function in oxygen-deprived neurons. One of our most consistent and dramatic applications — typically combined with HBOT at 1.3 ATA.

Alzheimer's & Dementia

Published research identifies 1070nm as having disease-modifying properties in Alzheimer's. The Baylor trial demonstrated rapid improvement in memory and cognitive function. Regular protocols show measurable slowing of decline over time.

Long COVID Brain Fog & Spike Protein Injury

Neuroinflammation and mitochondrial disruption are the documented mechanisms behind Long COVID cognitive symptoms. 1070nm addresses both directly — and our results with Long COVID clients have been among the most striking we see.

Post-Stroke Recovery

Peri-infarct tissue surrounding a stroke site can remain metabolically depressed for years. 1070nm light reactivates dormant neurons — restoring function long after the acute event, particularly when combined with HBOT.

PTSD & Trauma

PTSD involves measurable prefrontal hypoactivation and amygdala hyperactivation. Frontal quadrant protocols restore prefrontal regulation, reduce hyperarousal, and support the neurological underpinning of emotional recovery.

Parkinson's Disease

Mitochondrial dysfunction in the substantia nigra is central to Parkinson's. Posterior and left-quadrant protocols support dopaminergic neuron function, improving motor control, tremor severity, and daily quality of life.

Cognitive Longevity & Anti-Aging

You do not need a diagnosis to benefit. Regular 1070nm sessions in healthy aging adults improve cognitive scores, increase cerebral blood flow, and reverse the micro-vascular damage that accumulates silently over decades.

Depression & Mood Disorders

Frontal protocols at therapeutic frequencies directly support prefrontal cortex function and neurotransmitter regulation — producing measurable mood improvements that accumulate over a protocol course.

Autism Spectrum Disorder

Right hemisphere targeting for social cognition combined with global neuroinflammation reduction supports improvements in language, social interaction, and sensory processing seen in both research and our own observation.

BRAIN MAPPING

qEEG — Map Your Brain Before You Target It

A quadrant-targeted device is only as precise as the map it works from. We offer qEEG brain mapping as part of our Neuradiant 1070 protocols — providing objective data that tells us exactly which regions need the most support and which frequencies will be most effective for your condition.

What Is a qEEG?

A quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG) measures the electrical activity across different regions of your brain and compares it against a normative database. It shows where your brain is over- or under-activated, which regions are communicating well and which are not, and where injury or chronic stress has left a detectable functional signature. The assessment takes about 20 minutes and produces a detailed brain map that guides every targeting and frequency decision we make in your protocol.

Analysis by the QuietMind Foundation

qEEG analysis for our Neuradiant protocols is conducted in collaboration with the QuietMind Foundation and Dr. Marvin Berman, Ph.D. — the researcher behind the original Baylor clinical trial and one of the foremost authorities in transcranial photobiomodulation. His analysis translates the brain map directly into a Neuradiant protocol — specific quadrants, specific frequencies, specific session structure. This is the same analytical standard used in the Baylor research, and it is the most informed qEEG interpretation available for this specific device and application.

YOUR NEURADIANT SESSION

What to Expect with 1070 NIR Helmet Use

A Neuradiant 1070 session is one of the most comfortable, non-invasive things we offer. Sessions run 10 to 30 minutes and combine naturally with every other modality in our facility. If it is working well with no side effects, we rent the device to use at home more often and in the comfort of your own home. (see our Rental Page for details)

Protocol Design — With or Without qEEG

Before your first session, we review your symptoms, history, and goals. If you have had a qEEG, we use the brain map to design your quadrant targeting and frequency protocol precisely. If not, we build a protocol based on your primary conditions and adjust it as we observe your response over the first few sessions. Either way, every protocol is individual — never a template.

Helmet On — 10 to 30 Minutes

The helmet fits comfortably over the head and is adjusted to your size. The 1070nm therapeutic wavelength is invisible — you will see only a faint indicator light confirming the device is active. You will feel nothing physically. Most people find the experience deeply relaxing. Settle in with headphones and binaural beats at matching frequencies, or simply rest. We stay with you throughout.

1070nm is invisible to the eye — the small indicator light simply confirms the device is running.

Post-Session & Protocol Progress

Most clients notice the earliest effects within the first few sessions — improved sleep, clearer thinking, reduced fatigue, or a subtle but noticeable shift in mood. Structural neurological changes build progressively. The Baylor trial demonstrated significant results in under 30 days. We track your response and adjust your protocol over time — and for clients doing a full neurological protocol, we recommend reassessment qEEG at 6–8 weeks to document objective change.

The Neuradiant works best as a course of sessions —consistency is everything in neurological recovery.

BETTER TOGETHER

The Neuradiant Paired With Our Other Modalities

The Neuradiant 1070 is the centerpiece of our brain health protocols. No other photobiomodulation device uses the 1070nm. They claim the same effect but don't deliver the right frequency. Every modality in our facility can amplify the neurological effect from a different direction because we use the tools the research is conducted with.

Neuradiant 1070 Infrared helmet
Integrated hyperbarics hard chamber

Neuradiant + HBOT

Our most powerful neurological combination. HBOT at 1.3 ATA floods brain tissue with dissolved oxygen — up to 15 times normal concentration. The Neuradiant then activates mitochondria in that oxygen-saturated tissue, producing cellular energy output that neither therapy could achieve alone. For TBI, stroke, Alzheimer's, and PTSD, this is the protocol we build everything else around. This combination is used in the most advanced clinical neurological protocols worldwide.

Neuradiant + Infrared Sauna

Far infrared heat elevates whole-body circulation before the Neuradiant session — increasing cerebral blood flow going in. The brain receives the 1070nm light in a state of elevated perfusion, with more oxygen and nutrients already in circulation. A powerful pre-session primer for any neurological protocol.

Neuradiant + PBMT Panels

While the Neuradiant targets the brain with 1070nm precision, the full-body panels deliver red and near-infrared light to the peripheral nerves, spinal cord, and systemic mitochondria simultaneously. The combination addresses the entire nervous system — central and peripheral — in a single session.

Neuradiant 1070 Infrared helmet
PEMF mat

Neuradiant + PEMF

PEMF at theta or delta frequencies places the nervous system in a deeply relaxed, receptive state during the Neuradiant session. The electromagnetic signal and the photonic signal work on the same neurological tissue through complementary mechanisms — restoring electrical membrane potential and mitochondrial energy production simultaneously. The optimal cellular environment for neurological repair.
