Far Infrared Sauna
Sweat Deeper.
Recover Faster

Far infrared heat penetrates 2–3 inches into tissue — warming your body from the inside out, not the air around you. The result is a deeper, more productive sweat at a lower ambient temperature than traditional saunas, with benefits that extend well beyond relaxation into genuine cellular detoxification and recovery.

THE SCIENCE
How Far Infrared Sauna Heat Works
There is a meaningful difference between sitting in hot air and being heated by infrared radiation. Traditional saunas heat the surrounding air to temperatures that many people find uncomfortable or difficult to tolerate. Far infrared heat skips the air entirely and is absorbed directly by the body — warming tissue from the inside out at temperatures that are far more comfortable to sit in and far more effective at driving a therapeutic response.
Far infrared wavelengths (in the 5,000–15,000nm range) are absorbed by the water molecules in your body's cells. This direct cellular absorption raises your core temperature more efficiently than ambient heat — producing a deeper, more thorough sweat at 120–140°F rather than the 180–200°F required by traditional saunas to achieve a similar effect. The result is a sauna experience that is genuinely more comfortable, more accessible to people with cardiovascular sensitivities, and more therapeutically productive.
When your core temperature rises, a cascade of beneficial responses begins: blood vessels dilate dramatically, increasing circulation to every tissue in the body. Heart rate increases in a manner similar to moderate cardiovascular exercise. Sweat glands activate deeply, mobilizing heavy metals, environmental toxins, and metabolic waste products that conventional sweating at lower temperatures does not reach. Human growth hormone output increases, supporting muscle repair and recovery. And the lymphatic system accelerates, helping clear cellular debris and inflammatory byproducts that accumulate with chronic stress and poor circulation.
This is the mechanism behind the sauna's reputation as one of the most well-researched longevity tools available. Regular sessions are associated with reduced all-cause mortality, improved cardiovascular markers, lower blood pressure, and meaningful improvements in markers of chronic inflammation. Our Good Health Sauna delivers all of this in a private, comfortable environment — and stacks exceptionally well with HBOT and PBMT to create one of the most comprehensive recovery protocols we offer.

Far IR
5,000–15,000nm · What We Use
Deep Cellular Absorption
Far infrared is absorbed directly by your body's water molecules, heating you from the inside. Effective at 120–140°F — comfortable enough to sustain for a full 30–45 minute session while still producing a deep, productive sweat and meaningful cardiovascular response.
Traditional
Convection Heat · Hot Air
Surface Heating Via Air
Traditional saunas heat the air to 180-200°F, which then heats your skin. This produces a sweat response but doesn't penetrate as deeply into tissue. Many people find the intense ambient heat difficult to tolerate for extended sessions, limiting the therapeutic benefits.
WHY IT WORKS
What Far Infrared Sauna Does For Your Body
The benefits of regular infrared sauna use are among the most thoroughly documented in the wellness research base — from cardiovascular health to heavy metal detoxification to post-exercise recovery. And it is all here for you.
Deep Detoxification
Far infrared heat mobilizes heavy metals (mercury, lead, cadmium) and environmental toxins stored in fat tissue — releasing them through sweat at a rate significantly higher than conventional exercise or ambient-heat saunas. Regular sessions produce a measurable reduction in toxic load over time.

Cardiovascular Conditioning
A 30-minute far infrared session produces a heart rate response comparable to moderate aerobic exercise. Blood pressure drops. Circulation increases throughout the body. Over time, regular use is associated with improved endothelial function and reduced cardiovascular risk markers.

Muscle Recovery & Pain Relief
Increased circulation and core temperature elevation reduce delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), relax chronically tight soft tissue, and increase the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to areas of injury or inflammation. One of the fastest ways to feel better after hard training or a difficult week.

Skin & Collagen Support
Deep sweating clears pores more thoroughly than surface-level heat. Increased circulation drives more nutrient and oxygen delivery to skin cells. Combined with the improved collagen synthesis triggered by improved blood flow, regular sauna use produces measurable improvements in skin tone, texture, and elasticity.

Weight & Metabolic Support
Elevated heart rate and core temperature increase caloric expenditure during and after a session. Far infrared heat also activates fat cells directly, facilitating the release of stored triglycerides and lipids — supporting metabolic function as part of a broader wellness protocol.

Stress, Sleep & Mood
Heat exposure triggers endorphin release and parasympathetic nervous system activation — producing a profound relaxation response that persists well after the session. Many clients report their best sleep following an evening sauna session. Cortisol markers improve with regular use.

OUR EQUIPMENT
Good Health Saunas - Built For Results
We chose Good Health Saunas deliberately — because when it came time to add a sauna to our facility, we applied the same standard we applied to every other piece of equipment: clinical effectiveness first, not cost efficiency. Good Health is one of the most respected names in far infrared sauna construction.
Room for 3 — or One Very Relaxed Person
Our sauna comfortably seats three, which makes it ideal for couples or small groups. Come in together and recover together. Or book it solo, stretch out, and use the space entirely as your own.

Towel Service Included
Every session includes fresh towels — no need to bring anything. Show up, sweat, and leave feeling lighter. We handle the rest.

30–60 Minute Sessions
The sweet spot for far infrared benefit. Long enough to produce a deep, productive sweat and meaningful cardiovascular response. Short enough to fit into any schedule. Weekly and monthly packages available for regular users.

Ozone & Ionizer System
Our sauna is equipped with an ozone and ionizer system that continuously cleans the air inside the cabin — eliminating bacteria, neutralizing odors, and ensuring you are breathing the cleanest air possible during your session. A detail most facilities skip.
Why We Chose Good Health Saunas
Good Health Saunas are built with the same philosophy we bring to every piece of equipment in this facility: the quality of the device determines the quality of the result. Low-EMF carbon fiber heating panels. Solid construction. Consistent output. Not the kind of sauna you find at a spa chain or wellness franchise. The kind you find at a facility that takes its work seriously.

CHROMOTHERAPY
Color Light Therapy Inside the Sauna
Our sauna includes built-in chromotherapy — color light therapy that delivers an additional layer of benefit during your session. Different wavelengths of visible light influence mood, nervous system tone, and biological processes in ways that amplify the heat therapy you are already receiving. Take a look at the different physiological and emotional effects of color.

YOUR SAUNA SESSION
What to Expect in the Infrared Sauna
A sauna session here is not complicated. You show up, we get the cabin to temperature, you step in and sweat. Everything you need is provided. The only thing you need to bring is yourself.
Pre-Heat & Setup
We pre-heat the sauna to your target temperature before you arrive. By the time you change and settle in, the cabin is ready. We'll set your chromotherapy color based on your goals for the session — energizing, calming, or balancing — and get the ozone system running to ensure clean air throughout.
Settle In & Use the Time
The sauna is your private space for the session. Bring headphones and listen to binaural beats, a guided meditation, or music. Use the time for quiet breathwork. Bring a book. Or simply sit, sweat, and let the heat do its work. Your clinician is just outside if you need anything — but the door is yours to open whenever you're ready.
Hydrate before your session — and we'll have water ready for you when you come out.
The Sweat
Most people begin sweating within 10–15 minutes. By the end of a 30–45 minute session, it is productive and deep — reaching the stored toxins and metabolic waste that shorter or lower-temperature sessions don't access. This is the point. The towel service means you can wipe down and cool off comfortably at session end.
First-timer? Start with 30 minutes and see how your body responds before going longer.
Post-Session
Most people feel deeply relaxed and clear after a sauna session. Some feel a mild fatigue as the body continues processing the heat response — this is normal and passes within an hour. Rehydrate. If you're combining with HBOT or PBMT, the sauna works best immediately before those sessions — your circulation is already elevated and your tissues are ready to respond.
